Technical access data
When you visit this website, the web server processes technically necessary access data, including your IP address, time, requested page, amount of data, browser, operating system and referrer. This processing is necessary for secure and stable operation under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Server logs are retained only as long as required for operation, troubleshooting and security.
Contact, enquiries and bookings
Data submitted through contact, enquiry and booking forms is processed to answer your message, take steps before entering into a contract and, where applicable, perform the accommodation contract under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Statutory retention duties remain unaffected.
Cookies and local storage
The public website currently uses no cookies requiring consent and stores no analytics or advertising identifier in your browser. Therefore, no general cookie banner is shown. A secure, technically necessary session cookie is used only when signing in to the protected hotel administration.
Google Maps
The embedded Google Maps frame is loaded only after you deliberately click “Show map”. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google may then process your IP address, browser and device information and usage data, use its own cookies or similar storage, and involve affiliated companies in third countries. Without this click, the website does not connect to the embedded map; route links likewise open Google Maps only after your deliberate click.
First-party cookieless statistics
To improve the website, page views, viewed pages, visible engagement time, referral source, voluntarily supplied UTM campaign parameters and submitted enquiries are aggregated on the hotel's own server. No analytics cookie or browser identifier is used and no data is sent to Google Analytics or another analytics provider. IP addresses are not stored in the statistics; only a daily rotating HMAC pseudonym is generated server-side to estimate returning visits. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are respected. Processing is based on the legitimate interest in a secure, economical and user-friendly website under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Recipients and your rights
Only providers and bodies that require data for hosting, IT operation, communication, booking, payment, accounting or legal duties receive it on a valid legal basis. Subject to the statutory requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and may withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
